Introduction

RooDataServer is part of the SICdb software package. It is used to build up the database from .csv files, view and browse the data and export.

Import

After installing and starting the environment open http://localhost:5000 in your browser. Follow the instructions for installing the dataset. The import may take several hours and can be interrupted.

Query and Export

The Query Manager is used to create extended queries using predefined fields. Each fields has multiple configuration possibilities like filters, grouping and offsets. Browse through the examples to get used to it. RooDataServer provides multiple export formats including .csv, .xlsx, .r and .sqlite3.

The CSV export utility can export raw minute data. If applied to field, offsets will have effect on this export.

Statistics

RooDataServer has an extendable quick statistics system. These statistics are just for quick data analysis and must be recalculated by any validated statistics software.
